I actually took this from the balcony of my hotel in Chamonix. We got home from a long day out and just as I thought I would have a lie down I noticed that the light coming through the window was really nice so stepped out on the balcony to this view. The sun was setting and just catching the tops of the mountains and as I was shooting there was s mall avalanche between these two mountains.
I post processed in Nik SFX.
