Taken in the summer of 2009. The The Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore is located right in the city centre and is an unmistakeable landmark. At the peak of the tourist season its almost impossible to get a shot without hundreds of tourists (me included) so I decided to go for a tight crop to reveal the magnificent detail of the building.
